I bought my first property in 1976 while barely scraping by in a dead-end job. Back then, I never expected my life to turn out as it has. After I learned how to invest without going to the bank, I became unstoppable. Real estate took me out of poverty to financial freedom. I’ve invested in single-family homes, apartments, hotels, notes, and even developed commercial and residential subdivisions.
My experience grew, and that led me to teaching others the methods I developed. I became the founding President of the National Real Estate Investors Association which is now the world’s largest investor group with over 3,200 members, and I also served as President of the Georgia real estate investor association, of which I am now a designated lifetime member.
I tell you all this because I LOVE REIAs. I started the Street Smart® Online REIA to give investors like you an extra level of support and access that you just can’t get from a local, in person REIA. It’s for folks like you who do not have access to a local REIA or who may be tired of being limited to attending the same old, boring real estate investment association meetings every month. Street Smart® Online REIA is made up of successful investors across America and even has members abroad. It started as a private coaching and mentoring group for active investors at all levels of experience. It is currently led by Louis Brown, a veteran investor, author, educator, President Emeritus - and designated lifetime member - of the Georgia Real Estate Investors Association and the founding President of the National Real Estate Investors Association.
We help you create wealth and success, whether you are a brand-new or an experienced real estate investor. We have a special mission to also make the dream of homeownership possible and affordable for people nationwide.
You can live anywhere in the world and be a part of SSOREIA. We are not limited to one geographic region, which makes us VERY different from other real estate investor associations. We have investors nationwide, and this gives members the benefit of knowing what is going on in other markets without having to be there. The majority of our meetings are over ZOOM, so that does not limit you to living in one geographic location, and we meet almost every week, as opposed to traditional REIAs who meet only once a month.
In addition to meeting other investors, sharing resources, and discussing everything you can imagine when it comes to real estate investing, we also cover the latest investing tools, uses of social media, creative financing, buying without the use of bank loans, asset protection, property management and more. We discuss buying, selling, holding, being a Landlord, inspections, tenant-landlord law, fair housing, regulations, and ethics. We cover flipping, wholesaling, rehab, financing, private money, hard money lending, crowdfunding, p2p, general finance, lease options, 1031 exchanges, and more. Sessions are led by investors and professionals who are actively doing deals.
SSOREIA offers you unprecedented support and guidance from “in-the-trenches” real estate investors. Our weekly meetings will help with everything from deal structuring to solving specific problems. You can join from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet or phone access. On top of that, we offer the only NATIONAL CERTIFICATION for Affordable Housing Providers, called CAHP

That’s great! We strongly support and encourage investors to seek and keep membership in their local REIAS. Unless you are not utilizing the membership, there is no reason we can think of for you to leave your current REIA. Membership in another REIA does not exclude you from joining SSOREIA.
Although we are not affiliated with the National REIA, you may know that our current SSOREIA leader was the founding President of the National Real Estate Investors Association, and we hold their organization in high regard.
As a member, you will have access to archived recordings of our weekly sessions. On top of that, you will receive invitations to participate in regular training opportunities both in person and virtually. These trainings are hosted by verified experts and range in duration from an hour to multiple days and include a rich variety of different topics covering all aspects of real estate investing. From structuring your first deal to protecting your assets, we leave little to chance when it comes to providing you with the knowledge you need.
Traditional REIAs can be expensive, with membership fees, travel costs, and other expenses adding up quickly. Our membership fees are about what you’d pay for a night at the movies, giving you the same level of education and networking opportunities at a fraction of the cost.
